Hello! Tell us about yourself?

Hello! I’m Holly. I’m an Actor, Comedian, 3 times UK Ping Pong champion and liar.

How did you come up with the name of your show that your taking to the Camden fringe?

I’m a massive hulk fan mainly because he’s massive so this is a tribute to him.

Tell us a little bit about your style of show?

It’s a character comedy show with audience interaction. And if you think you can hide from me by sitting at the back then you are sadly mistaken.

What will your show be about?

My show is about dealing with our inner critics, standing up for ourselves and the dangers of repressing anger for the entirety of your life.

What other acts are you looking forward to seeing at the fringe?

I’m really excited to see Sam Fletcher’s show: Pillock of the community! I also run a WIP comedy night called ‘Stop trying to make sketch happen’ with Hoopla at The Miller and I’ve loved watching Sue the cleaner and also Andy Field perform there so I can’t wait to see their shows!

Have you done the fringe before? What have been some of your favourite shows to date and why?

This is my first time doing Camden fringe so I’ll definitely be seeing as many shows as I can! How many shows do you think you could see in one day? Maybe I’ll set a new record!

What advice would you give to others who want to perform at Camden Fringe next year?

Visit as many venues as you can and see which one you think would suit your show. For example, 2Northdown where I’m performing has a toilet that is basically onstage so if I think the show’s going badly I can have a toilet break mid way through and think about how I’ve really let myself down.

What is the best thing about performing at the Camden fringe?

I’m looking forward to terrorising…no sorry…entertaining the audiences coming to Camden Fringe so I think they’re going to be my highlight!

London can be an expensive place to perform in – what key advice would you give to performers that is a sort of life hack?

Instead of washing your pants after one day’s use, turn them inside out and wear them for a second day. This really saves on laundry costs.

What are your three favourite things about Camden?

The food, the pubs, the council.

Favourite one liner you have done in a show and why?

My critical voice once said ‘If Holly can look at herself in the mirror and hate herself, then I can look at myself and know that I’ve done a good job’.

Who would be your ultimate dream audience member?

All of Camden Council.

The iconic image of the Camden Fringe is the Pigeon – if you could call this years pigeon a name to represent its style what would it be and why?

Matt Damon.

If people want to find out more about you where can they follow you on social media?

I’m @hollyhallcomedian on Instagram and Tiktok!

And Finally in three words – Why should people come and see the show?
