Hello! Tell us about SuperGirly?

Return of the Pop princess, is a musical stand up glamour fest that takes you on a roller coaster ride of Pop parodies  poking fun at celebrities and Pop Culture. Hosted by Supergirly a self confessed Pop princess, a pathological liar and wanna be A lister.

How did you come up with the name of your show that you’re taking to the Camden fringe?

I have been doing my show SuperGirly for many years but this is my first time returning to London in quite a while so hence the added “return of the Pop Princess “

Tell us a little bit about your style of show?

The show has been described as “rude, crude and wickedly funny” it’s a mix of current and old pop tunes and interactive chats with the audience. I think people expect it to be really girly and polite but it pushes boundaries that’s for sure.

What will your set be about?

This set I’ll be talking about lady Gaga, Madonna, Britney, harry styles, and who ever has hit the headlines that day.

What other acts are you looking forward to seeing at the fringe?

Besides Supergirly I think Ready steady Crooks at hope theatre looks fun.

Have you done the fringe before? What have been some of your favourite shows to date and why?

I haven’t done Camden Fringe before so I’m looking forward to seeing what it’s like! The only fringe I’ve done is Edinburgh Festival a few times  previously.

What advice would you give to others who want to perform at Camden Fringe next year?

Apply early, know your brand. Have your marketing tools ready and research the venues you want!

What is the best thing about performing at the Camden fringe?

I don’t know yet! So far they have been really lovely to deal with.

London can be an expensive place to perform in – what key advice would you give to performers that is a sort of life hack?

Whatever money you do have put it into marketing, hopefully it pays off and you get people at your show and you may make some money back.

What are your three favourite things about Camden?

Shopping, shopping and shopping

Favourite one liner you have done in a show and why?

Every show has winning one liners it’s hard to pick just one. Come and decide for yourself

Who would be your ultimate dream audience member?

Taika Waititi would be nice. I’d love to work with him.

The iconic image of the Camden Fringe is the Pigeon – if you could call this years pigeon a name to represent its style what would it be and why?

It looks like a Dylan to me sort of peace love and Camden.

If people want to find out more about you where can they follow you on social media?

@therealsupergirly on instagram is probably the best place.

And Finally in three words – Why should people come and see the show?
