This year I have decided to keep a diary of tracks that I am enjoying so that maybe you can gain new ideas of tracks to listen to or even try out. I am keeping a diary of tracks throughout the month that stand out to me so that I can put these selected tracks into an article for you! Here is this months hitlist

9/7/23 – Perfect Mistake – Josh Ramsay feat Ria Mae
I heard this song a long time ago but completely forgot about it, the only reason I remembered to re-listen to this track was because Josh Ramsay started to promote it on his social media pages as they had created a music video for it. The track is quite fun and pacey and I recommend you listen to it as it has a catchy chorus.
23/7/23 – Barbaric – Blur
If you have turned on any indie radio channel or looked at any social media that is related to the genre then there is one thing on everyone’s mind this month and that is Blur. I have always liked some of their songs but never really gone out my way to listen to them (as I have always preferred Oasis more…..) Anyway, I tend to have Radio X playing in the morning and this was the record of the week and it was constantly playing so I learnt to like it.
24/7/23 – King Louie and Robin Hood – Louis Prima
In recent years I have started to listen to a lot to Louis Prima as I find that his music is uplifting and is great music to tap your toes along to. Did you know that he was King Louie in the original Jungle Book? I discovered this a few years ago but the one thing I found out this month was that he wrote a song about King Louie being friends with Robin Hood for a celebration album about the film – who knew!
28/7/23 – Summa Hot – Sean Paul
It would not be summer without Sean Paul releasing a single and this year he has released a track that has a catchy sound to it and will make you want to tap your feet along to the music. It has a really interesting jingle to it that makes it a song that will make any hot day an interesting one.
