Hello! Tell us about yourself?

We are a lesbian couple, Rebecca Prentice (producer) and Kit Sinclair (actor/writer) who chose to create something by and for our community, at a time when lesbian identity is contested and debated by a loud and exclusionary minority of transphobes.

How did you come up with the name of your show that your taking to the fringe?

Well the show is about Kit coming out aged 30 and all of the hilarious, sexy and painful moments in the years following.

Tell us all about your show!

The show is a filthy, funny exploration of lesbian identity, community and finding yourself in your 30s. It follows Kit, fresh out the closet as she tries to figure out this identity in a whirlwind of drugs, clubs and heartbreak. Interwoven into the show are interviews with lesbians across the UK, weaving real voices and experiences which contrast and complement Kit’s own story. The show has been met with critical acclaim and so much love from the LGBTQ+ and straight audiences, we can’t wait to come to Edinburgh.

What other acts are you looking forward to seeing at the fringe?

Pitch by November theatre is top of our list, and Blowhole by Benjamin Salmon
