Welcome to the feature where every fortnight we will explore different topics that are listed in the book A List A Day by Paperchase. They range from food, music and travel to really random topics so I thought it wold be a fun one to talk about throughout the year!
Today’s List: Favourite Recipes
I love cooking and whilst I don’t get a chance to follow recipes very often, when I do I really enjoy it- so here is a list of some recipes I really enjoy.
Jamie Oliver’s Fish Pie
I made this once and was amazed at how good it was and how indulgent it tasted too. The addition of the mustard in the cream makes it taste really good. Since it is homemade, it means that you can choose the fish that you put into it and that can make it incredibly special.
Chocolate Toffee Brownie
I had a recipe in a booklet by Sainsburys magazine and it was my best friend as it was used all the time when I was at University until now. The one recipe that always went down a storm was the chocolate toffee brownies, they were rich, indulgent and everyone always wanted one. I made them for my housemates charity raising event and they got such high reviews over even her stuff that she lied and told everyone they were hers.
Chocolate Buttercream
If you want a really good chocolate buttercream then I would highly recommend Mary Berry’s recipe for it. The taste is mind-blowing and is incredibly tasty and makes cakes elevated.
