Hello! Tell us about yourself?

I am a former firefighter turned actor writer. I have previously written two plays and this is my third.

How did you come up with the name of your show that your taking to the Camden fringe?

I came up with the name Role the Dice because I take a lot of risks in this play and in my life.

Tell us a little bit about your style of show?

The style is a comedy solo immersive show. The humour is quite dark and we’ll be using plenty of music and projections which will transport the audience into my world on stage.

What will your set be about?

It’s about a period of my life from  age 18 – 22. I was a firefighter but then I got into trouble with some gangsters and had to flee the country. I moved to Ireland then on to Australia. I lost all my money and became homeless. I then got offered a job as a stripper and the rest is history.

It is your first time doing the Fringe – how do you feel about it?

This is my first Camden fringe and my first time performing in London. I love the vibe in Camden, especially people and their creativity.

What advice would you give to others who want to perform at Camden Fringe next year?

Prepare, plan and get a good team around you who are as passionate about your project as you are.

What are your favourite things about London?

The history, the memories of watching my dad on stage in the west end. Oh and I love the tube, i wish they had that in Manchester.

What are your three favourite things about Camden?

The people, the culture and the pubs of course.

Who would be your ultimate dream audience member?

My father.

The iconic image of the Camden Fringe is the Pigeon – if you could call this years pigeon a name to represent its style what would it be and why?

Frank. I wouldn’t tell people why, it’ll fun to for it to remain a mystery.

If people want to find out more about you where can they follow you on social media?

And Finally in three words – why should people come and see the show?

Fun, real, experience
