Hello! Tell us about yourself?

I am a comedian who has had two series on Radio 4; but I’m also a working-class millenial, so I still live with my parents.

How did you come up with the name of your show that your taking to the Camden fringe?

It’s a pun on the phrase “cash rich”, as my show is about my relationship with money as someone who has never had much of it!

Tell us a little bit about your style of show?

It’s autobiographical stand-up, with a bit of a political edge.

What will your set be about?

It’s inspired by the ongoing cost of living crisis, and what’s it’s like as someone who feels like my entire life has been a cost of living crisis.

What other acts are you looking forward to seeing at the fringe?

Matt Hutchinson and Kathryn Mather are always quality, their shows will be great.

What advice would you give to others who want to perform at Camden Fringe next year?

It’s always been a fun festival when I’ve done it, and the audiences are lovely. Just do it!

What are your favourite things about London?

There are plenty of cool places to do comedy, and I have lots of mates there.

What are your three favourite things about Camden?

The Fringe, London Zoo and The Amy Winehouse Statue

Favourite one liner you have done in a show and why?

“They say money doesn’t buy happiness, but it buys antidepressants.”

Because it’s about money, and I have had times in my life where I couldn’t afford my antidepressants. Turning a rubbish real life moment into comedy is always a lovely feeling.

Who would be your ultimate dream audience member?

I met my partner when they were watching a gig I was on 4 years ago, so I guess I’ve already had my dream audience member!

The iconic image of the Camden Fringe is the Pigeon – if you could call this years pigeon a name to represent its style what would it be and why?

Posh Pigeon – because I have a friend called Gemma who has that as a nickname, and it makes me smile.
