Hello and welcome to a new feature, this year I have decided to keep a diary of tracks that I am enjoying so that maybe you can gain new ideas of tracks to listen to or even try out. I am keeping a diary of tracks throughout the month that stand out to me so that I can put these selected tracks into an article for you! Here is this months hitlist

2/3/22 – Dancing In the Dark, Scot Bradlee Postmodern Jukebox
Sometimes you just like to listen to a reimagined version of a song and on this particular day that us exactly how I felt and turned to Scott Bradlee for this inspiration. I ended up coming across this version of this song and it was really good fun and a great way to kick off the month.
3/3/22 – Now You’re Gone, Basshunter
The fun thing about writing articles such as Music Memories is that you get to talk about songs that you have forgotten about. Writing about this song made me listen to it again and dance about and it is so catchy and really fun that I am glad I have listened to it alot.
4/3/22 – The Heavy Entertainment Show, Robbie Williams
I go through stages where I really enjoy listening to Robbie Williams and singing my little heart out. This song I very rarely hear so to listen to it for the first time in ages meant that I got to really enjoy it and sing along and surprisingly knew a lot of the lyrics.
9/3/22 – Spiderman 2 Theme song, Danny Elfman
I decided to re watch Spiderman 2 for the first time in years and really enjoyed it. Something that has always been my favourite thing of this film is the opening titles sequence as it is phenomenal and it has an amazing song to go with it which I have always been a fan of.
10/3/22 – The Suburbs, Arcade Fire
The one thing I like about Spotify is the themed playlists that change with new music weekly. There is one playlist that I follow called Throwback Thursday and this particular week it was looking back at groups that played Glastonbury Festival. I had never heard this track before so it was a delight to my ears when it came on. I had never heard this song before and instantly liked it.
11/3/22 – The Funeral, Yungblud
I wasn’t sure when i first heard this if I actually liked this but like any Yungblud track, the more I hear it the more I like it. This song took a while to grow on me and only did when I had it on repeat whilst I was working to a deadline and noticed that I was dancing along to it in my chair.
14/3/22 – Paralyzed, Sueco
This song has been on my playlists for ages and it is so catchy and I always look to see who is singing it. The track has a mixture of emo, heavy guitars and a tad of hip hop to make this really unique track. I really love this song, I think it is one of my favourite songs of the year so far.
19/3/22 – Have a Nice Day, Bon Jovi
Sometimes you just have to listen to a band you haven’t heard in such a long time and sing your little heart out. This was one of those days. I put some Bon Jovi on and sung my little heart out all day! I love this song it is really uplifting and underrated.
20/3/22 – Compliance, Muse
It is always exciting when Muse release new music and it was a lovely surprise to see that the band were returning to the music scene. Like a lot of their returns, it did not come with new style, a new sound and of course the drama, I am really interested to see what the album will sound like and excited for it’s release.
21/3/33 – Beautiful Day, Michael Bublé
When it is a sunny day there is only one track that I love playing and it is this song. It is such a great track and it has this uplifting feel to it that makes you want en[joy the day and live life up in the sunshine. It also has a really fun music video with it as well.
