• Most of the shots of the large crowds were footage from One Direction concerts.
• All three of the Lonely Island members’ wives make an appearance in this movie. Joanna Newsom as the purple-haired defibrillator operator, Marielle Heller as a member of Conner’s documentary crew, and Liz Cackowski as the stage manager with whom Lawrence makes out. Jorma’s son (drumming baby) and brother, Asa Taccone (performer before Style Boyz at the Poppies) also make an appearance.
• This movie gives cameos to multiple musicians who have previously released songs with The Lonely Island including: Michael Bolton, Justin Timberlake, Akon, Adam Levine, Pharrell Williams, and Snoop Dogg.
