Welcome To Taste of States a place where we celebrate the weird and wonderful food of the United States of America. This can be everything from the snacks that are available for a limited time to the foods that are classic traditions at events such as Christmas and Thanksgiving! Each week we will explore the facts and the history surrounding a different food.
SKITTLES CHOCOLATE MIX
In 1997, the world of Skittles went down a whole new route and from reading reviews online, they were not a fan favourite at all, welcome to the world of Skittles Chocolate Mix. The idea of the venture was to ‘bridge the gap between tasty chocolate and chewy Skittles.’
There was five different flavours in each pack available which were – Chocolate Caramel, Brownie Batter, Chocolate Pudding, S’mores and Vanilla. The Skittles Chocolate Mix could be purchased in both a bag or a box but there was also a 2 ounce version that could be bought for 75 cents. Each bag is 113 calories and they contain no dairy or gelatin.
The reviews I have found online for these are not good, apparently they do not taste great and were a disappointment.
