• In episode 4, when Gabs and Charlie are waiting for him to go on stage, Charlie tells Gabs to stay in the dressing room and she says “why don’t you just chain me to a radiator and be done with it”. This is a reference to Elba’s other show, Luther, when he twice handcuffed one of his perps to a radiator to prevent him from escaping
• Angela Griffin who plays Sara’s American Manager Astrid, is in fact British in real life.
