Comedy Store Player Improv Workshops

Happy Birthday Criminal!

Criminal, which turns five years old this January, is moving venues to the Phoenix in Cavendish Square, where we’re having our inaugural show on January 19.
Big Smoke Takeover
On Monday 6th Big Smoke will be taken over by The Foreseeable Future (The F.F), a band of improv-soothsaying sisters. The line-up has been curated by The F.F and features London’s top funny women in improv comedy and stand up, Saba Husain, Derek’s Mojo and more! The night kicks off at 8pm at The Cheshire Cheese. Expect smoke, mystery and to laugh so hard you do a little wee.
ComedySportz Manchester Improv Courses Return!
ComedySportz Manchester will be running their popular 8 week courses in Foundation in Improv and Beginning Stand-Up Comedy from 25th January. Courses cover core skills and help people build confidence. They will also be running their Advanced Improv drop-ins from 11th January. For the more business minded the group are running a one day presentation skills course using the skills of a stand up to deliver engaging, entertaining presentations the promises to be serious fun. Workshops leader Sean Mason encourages people to sign up to a course saying, “who knows what the decade will bring; courses can help you overcome uncertainty, embrace play and have the confidence to make new connections.”
