CHOCOLATE DESSERT NACHOS

Today we head to a chain that has been located in Los Angeles since 1980 – El Pollo Loco. The restaurant brand specializes in Mexican style grilled chicken and is a place where you can dine in and also get takeaway from. They are known for doing a variety of chicken based dishes but this dessert takes them far away from the poultry.

In 2012, the chain released a brand new item called Chocolate Nachos – they were tortillas that were created out of chocolate flour that were deep fried and then topped with chocolate fudge sauce, marshmallow creme and powdered sugar. The delicacy was available for $3.99 and it totaled 1120 calories with 61 grams of fat.

According to reviews, the powder sugar is unnecessary, the chocolate sauce tastes like the one that you put on ice cream and the marshmallow creme is overwhelming and is very sweet. The nachos were praised for tasting really nice but the toppings have been criticized for being too sweet.
