DUNKIN’ DONUTS GLAZED BREAKFAST SANDWICH
We all like a nice breakfast but in America, breakfast is always taken to the next level. In 2013, Dunkin’ Donuts released a brand new breakfast item that took the experience of the donut to the next level. Two donuts that are glazed are turned into a sandwich by having bacon and a pepper friend egg put in the middle of it. Apparently the Donut sandwich was created to ‘satisfy the needs of their guests’.
When the Glazed Breakfast Sandwich was released it was tested in a few stores to see how the public reacted, it became part of the permanent menu from the 7th of June which was also National Donut Day. Now a breakfast that includes two donuts also comes with calories as well – according to reports, the breakfast item was a 360 calories
There were many varied reviews when it came to the taste of the Glazed Breakfast Donut. One reviewer said that the breakfast item tasted like bacon with a side of maple syrup and another whilst they enjoyed the taste, felt disappointed that it didn’t look like the poster did.
