Three years ago I bought a book in Tampa which is meant to be a great for creative like minds and for the past three years I have made it my New Years Resolution to complete it. The book is called 642 Things To Write About by The San Francisco Writers Grotto. I never got round to writing many of them so what’s a better way then getting through them then writing a few as an article each week! Enjoy.
601. Write down twenty details of your neighborhood block
How about twenty words instead:
It is a place on a busy street there is lots of greenery around as well, it is near countryside too
602. Write a scene set in a different location, using all the details from above
Bournemouth is a busy town set within the beautiful green countryside – there is also a beach and a busy promenade as well.
603. Jot down a list of things that make you angry
Headphones breaking, rude people, spitting, people not moving up on a crowded train, business men hitting you with their Kindles
604. Write about one thing on the list above.
Business men in London can sometimes be so rude – they only care about themselves and think they are better then anyone else and when they read Kindles they whack people in the face.
605. Losing your memory
Is one of my biggest fears
606. How to get from point A to point B….and why you might not want to
Use a map – it depends why you are going there
