New York City is a vibrant city and there is many reasons to go site seeing out on the water and one of the boat services that you can use it the New York Water Taxi. So why should you go out on the water in New York – the reason is the Statue of Liberty, visiting the islands and another reason is the skyline looks phenomenal from the water.
The New York Water Taxi is coloured the same yellow as the famous city taxis, which is a nice little touch. There are so many areas that you can pick the boats up from – this includes Midtown 42nd Street, Downtown Battery Park, South Street Seaport and Brooklyn.

2010 on the New York Water Taxi
There are so many sorts of tickets available to buy – you can purchase an all day access pass (tickets $37 for adults) where you can hop on and off as much as you like through all the different neighbourhoods. You can also expand it to a two day access pass. There is also a VIP pass which allows you to access different tourist attractions as well.
I lived in NYC in 2010 and I went on the New York Water Taxis to go and see the Statue of Liberty – I really enjoyed my journey on it – I got to see the famous statue with lots of friendly staff that were accommodating to tourists.
