• The band honeyhoney performs the opening theme and appears at the end of each episode to perform a song live.
• Fourth television series created solely by Greg Garcia, but first for TBS.
• The Guest Book was filmed in Pine Mountain Club, CA. Pine Mountain is located about an hour and a half from LA and as such is a regular filming location for scenic mountain retreats.
• In this series the name of the strip club is called Chubby’s. In My Name is Earl, the strip club was named Club Chubby. In Raising Hope there are also several references to Chubby. All 3 shows share the same writer and creator.
• Jimmy Tatro from American Vandal and Life According to Jimmy stars in an episode of the second season.
