In 2018, Dunkin’ Donuts announced that they were releasing a new addition to their menu which was due to come in July of that year. The company announced that they were releasing Donut Fries. Donut Fries are exactly what they say on the tin – donuts in the shape of fries.
The fries on the Dunkin’ Donuts website are described as ‘individual pieces of delicious, buttery croissant style donut dough that are tossed in cinnamon sugar and served warm.’
For $2 you get a selection of 5 Donut Fries. The company tried to apparently sell them quietly in Boston at the beginning of 2018 to test them out but word got out and due to demand they released them to more states.
There were many positive reviews of Dunkin’ Donuts Fries people liked the taste but there was not a lot of difference between them and normal donuts.
