naked egg tacoToday we look at a breakfast menu item from Taco Bell – how can you make a taco into a breakfast product, well you exchange the original taco for a fried egg of course! The Naked Egg Taco is the first taco by the company that is made entirely out of breakfast items. The fried egg taco is filled with bacon or sausage, seasoned potatoes, nacho cheese and real cheese. You can also have the option where you ‘upgrade’ your breakfast taco with creamy Jalapeno sauce, guacamole and Pico De Gallo.

There are also a number of add on’s and sauces that you can also choose to put on your taco including 3 cheese blend, steak, egg and reduced fat sour cream. If you want any of these you have to pay a little bit more for each.  If you want a Naked Egg Taco the you can they are $1.99 each and you can also make them part of different breakfast deals.

There has been a lot of mixed reviews in regards to this product, one website awarded it as the ‘Best Fast Food Breakfast of 2017’ (Extra Crispy) whilst others were no so sure about it with some commenting on the fried egg as the taco as it becomes greasy and is not easy to hold.

A lot of people have praised the flavours that are combined and that they taste good together and a lot of people enjoy the fact it delivers on the breakfast flavour.
