Welcome To Taste of States a place where we celebrate the weird and wonderful food of the United States of America. This can be everything from the snacks that are available for a limited time to the foods that are classic traditions at events such as Christmas and Thanksgiving! Each week we will explore the facts and the history surrounding a different food.
CHEESECAKE ON A STICK
For todays Taste Of States, we head over to the fast food chain called White Castle for something that makes one of the worlds most favourite desserts and puts it onto a stick – Cheesecake.
White Castle released a dessert for 99 cents a piece of cheesecake on a stick that has been dipped in fudge chocolate. It is part of the collection of ‘tiny sliders’ they have in their frozen collection which sits nicely on a menu that is famously known for it’s main burger sliders.
There has been a number of mixed reviews in regards to these Cheesecakes – some praised that they were nice little desserts and that they were just the right size after a big meal, others have not enjoyed them because they taste similar to the desserts you can get out of a freezer in a supermarket.
