Welcome To Taste of States a place where we celebrate the weird and wonderful food of the United States of America. This can be everything from the snacks that are available for a limited time to the foods that are classic traditions at events such as Christmas and Thanksgiving! Each week we will explore the facts and the history surrounding a different food.
KFC CHEETOS SANDWICH
Last week we spoke about the fact that in New York there is an ice cream that created a Cheetos Ice Cream – well today we look at a fast food chain that is jumping on the cheesy crisp band wagon – KFC and this time it is in the form of a Chicken sandwich.
It was announced last week on American social media channels that KFC is currently testing out a brand new product in the South of America. In the press release the fast food chain describe it as a sandwich :
“Made by coating a juicy, hand-breaded Extra Crispy chicken fillet with special Cheetos sauce and placing it on a toasted bun with mayo and a layer of crunchy Cheetos, the Cheetos Sandwich will give you a blast of craveable Cheetos in every bite.”
The new creation came about because the two brands have loyal fans and they wanted to give them something special to celebrate. Just like a lot of new things on the American food market, it will be available for a limited time only but who knows, it may expand its stay!
