The Games That Time Forgot – Planet Ring, Dreamcast

When Dreamcast was released, it was advertised and promoted as a console with an online functionality – this was one of these games that was created specifically to use this solely. Planet Ring was a multiplayer game that people could play with up to 32 other players.

The game consisted of four mini games of all different varieties including a game called Ball Bubble where you compete to catch as many different balls as you can with your colour. You could have your own little man and you can customise it to look however you want. The online functions also allow you to message back and forward with other people.

The Dreamcast server was shut down when the game system became defunct however due to popular demand it returned online in 2013.
