Welcome To Taste of States a place where we celebrate the weird and wonderful food of the United States of America. This can be everything from the snacks that are available for a limited time to the foods that are classic traditions at events such as Christmas and Thanksgiving! Each week we will explore the facts and the history surrounding a different food.
TACO BELL DOUBLE CHEESEY GORDITA CRUNCH
I was watching the VMAs the other day for work and when it came to the adverts there were a few food ones that caught my eye and this was one of those adverts as it just completely stood out as it was a product that looked completely different and something that well, only the States could come up with – welcome to the world of the Double Cheesey Gordita Crunch.
From reading many American articles, this is a product that has been introduced to re-invent an idea that has already run at Taco Bell. The aim of this return is to welcome new ideas and expansion to the already idea. However many are saying there is not that much difference between the two versions.
The Double Cheesey Gordita Crunch is a filled taco inside of a flatbread and between the bread and the taco there is more beef and cheese. It is $3.49 to buy one and each Gordita Crunch is 579 calories. You can also get the Double Cheesey Gordita Crunch as part of a crunch box where you get one of these, two tacos and a drink for $5. It is only available for a limited time.
