About the Show
This show was a pilot series that aired in 2017 and was based on the term that became popular by Donald Trump in his election campaign. The show first released a pilot in February and the full series aired in May of 2017. The show was hosted as Stephen Mangan and the panel captains were comedians Katherine Ryan and Richard Osman. The aim of the show was to decifer what news stories were actually real or fake.
Each episode ran for thirty minutes and was produced by Hatrick Productions. In the original pilot episode for every question that was correct the team would win thousands of points but because it came across too complicated it was changed to one point per team in the real show.
