Burn Your Fear

C3? international guest teacher workshops are back and with such a treat!

Philip Markle was the Artistic Director for the Annoyance’s NY theatre and has performed with iO, Second City and Baby Wants Candy. His most recent endeavour is the launch of a new theatre in NY, the Brooklyn Comedy Collective.

The theatre has just finished its trial run with great success and has secured its residency at The Brick Theater until the end of the year.

We couldn’t feel luckier than to have Philip fly all the way to London to teach a workshop all about stopping us to censor ourselves or bail on our choices while improvising on stage. In Burn Your Fear we will marry a sense of playful abandonment with actionable techniques to start scenes boldly, heighten them via specific and surprising choices, and employ context (who, what, where, when, why, etc.) without getting in our heads about it.

We all need a little more whimsy in our make-em-ups!
