Hello So how has 2017 been for jay?

Politically 2017 has been pretty horrific, It feels like the country has been worked up into a frenzy which has given rise to some questionable decision making from the general public…I mean MY year has been just fine but then again I only make impeccable decisions.

What’s been some of the highlights of the show for 2017?

Im not working on ‘a show’ as such just yet, I have been trying out a lot of new material this year. Which is always fun to do.

You are also a writer for this site what articles do you have planned for the new year?

Probably more interviews, Maybe some spotlight pieces…I am thinking about something with video maybe?

What are the plans for Your stand up 2018?

Lots of it hopefully, Get my time up, Iron out creases…

What does the year of 2018 hold for comedy as a whole what do you think will be big changes that will alter comedy for 2019?

I don’t see any great change coming in mainstream comedy if I am honest, Maybe I would like to see the mainstream open up a bit more to more alternative actsn and maybe some traditional stand-up as opposed to the formatted panel show, Id also hope we learn to laugh at ourselves a bit more in 2018
