It has come to the point of the year when we celebrate all things music and take a look back on the year and what songs that it has provided us with. This year has been the year of the comeback, so many artists have returned to the music scene and have had huge hit singles in doing so. Today we have a look at the final ten in our list of greatest songs of 2017.

21. Boys – Charli XCX

If you are a not a fan of this song then you may be a fan of the video as it contains some of the hottest guys from music. The song feels like it has just come out of a computer game with its mono rings throughout and it is quite catchy and good fun!

22. Play – Marmozets

This song is very addictive and has a great set of lyrics to go with it. The chorus is very addictive and is definitely one of the best rock songs of this year.

23. Revenge – Pink and Eminem

If there is one thing that makes a head great then that is a duet that includes Eminem and this is a combination that many have been waiting for a number of years. Their voices compliment each other really well and it’s a nice song to listen to on that drive to work or to commute.

24. Too Good At Goodbyes – Sam Smith

It has been a long wait for this star to shine back in the  music industry but by the return singles standards it is evident that Sam Smith has returned in full greatness to music. The song is catchy and has a great chorus that is hard not to sing along to.

25. New Rules – Dua Lipa

This was one of the biggest hits of the summer and it’s not hard to see why – it was really catchy and the dance record did exceedingly well in the U.K. Charts.

26. Look What you Made Me Do – Taylor Swift

This was the long awaited return of one of musics biggest stars and she didn’t come quietly, instead she came back so strong that she broke a lot of records on the way. This song stormed the charts and brought a video with it that took the Mickey out of rumours about herself and her reputation.

27. Walk on Water – 30 Seconds to Mars

This year saw the return of another huge band to the music scene and that band was none other then Thirty Seconds To Mars. Jared Leto in the past couple of years has been rocking the big screen with huge characters such as The Joker so now its time for the man with one of the best voices in rock to return to the music scene. This song has a highly catchy chorus and their performance at the VMAs 2017 wowed audiences.

28. Green Light – Lorde

Another catchy song was released this year by a musician that keeps attracting new audiences whilst also making her previous fans fall in love with her even more. This song is like other singles in the fact that it builds up and changes beats and melody throughout but it is a song that should definitely be listened to as its very catchy.

29. Sorry Not Sorry – Demi Lovato

If there is one lady that has a powerful voice then it is Demi Lovato and this song really was a stand out song of hers and rocked the charts this year. It had a really unique video to match the song which saw Demi at a house party and featured some of Americas hottest stars. It is one of those songs that was heard everywhere over the summer.

30. More Mess – Kungs, Olly Murs, Coely

If you want to create a catchy dance tune then why not bring in one of the biggest male solo artists in the UK. This song has a really catchy chorus and will get you wanting to get off your chair and dance.
