In the past few years we haven’t really done Christmas presents on a major scale because we have been travelling around other countries and haven’t really been able to treat one another – however that does not stop us having fun at the January / boxing day sales.

In recent years, especially when we have been in America, we have always waited until the January sales to really buy the best presents. One of the best presents to come out of this was the iPad I got in the sales back in 2010. It was at that point when the first ever iPad came out and no-one really knew what to do with it but it was at a time when Apple used to do sales in the Apple Store so we bought one in Boston and it was one of the best presents as it changed how I interact with computers. 7 years later whilst everyone has moved onto the new versions and generations, I still have my first Generation Ipad. I may only be able to use a few apps on it now (mainly games) I still use it on a daily basis for Netflix. I love the fact that the screen is so big and that the interface hasn’t really changed as it stopped updating years ago.

Another great thing about Christmas is that there are so many sales in the stores for clothing and over this period I have bought so many new outfits and things I love most – shoes. I adore shoes, i absolutely love buying new shoes especially if I am in America at Christmas – they are so cheap in sales! To give you a perspective on how cheap they are I got a pair of £60 shoes for £2.50 because of all the discounts! One time I went to America with only 4 pairs of shoes and came back with 11 – just to put things into perspective!
