24 Days of Christmas – The Christmas List

I remember when I was a kid I loved christmas and I loved everything about the Christmas list i would give my parents and family as to what I wanted for toys that year. One of my favourite things to do when I was younger was to get the Argos catalogue and a highlighter and circle things I liked and wanted as presents. A lot of the time it was not things I really wanted but things that looked interesting and relly interesting.
There are few things I remember wanting a lot at Christmas – The Furby and Tamagotchi spring to mind. I remember one year near Christmas we went into our local shopping centre and there was a queue outside Disney for a Buzz Lightyear. At the time I cannot remember if i had seen the film but mum asked me if i wanted the toy and i went yes please and we queued for it. Like i said I cant remember if I had seen Toy Story but they toy i knew would become one of my favourite things. (If i haven’t seen the film then that was pretty hardcore decision to make back then that i would love it – its one of my favourite films to this day).
When i was growing up the things I used to ask for a lot of was music – i loved music, there was always a list of CDs I would ask for and these would usually be bought by my uncle or aunt. Another thing I always asked for was computer games because I have always been into gaming.
In recent years, or maybe to be more preccise, 2010, the Christmas list has not been somethig that I have really thought of. To be honest I don’t use Christmas as a time to get a huge present; this is because we are travelling usually at this time. These days, i enjoy being in a foreign country with like a budget of like 20 dollars or euros and being creative and also silly with what you can buy. I only have my mum to buy for these days so its a lot of fun!
I love buying presents these days more then actually receiving them, i love being creative and thinking outside the box when I do buy something. It makes it more fun when you see the look on their face.
