This weekend we are having a N-Dubz special on the Music Guide as both Dappy, who we spoke about yesterday, and Tulisa, who we will discuss today, have recently both released new music.

Tula Contostavios, who is also Dappy’s cousin released her single ‘Sweet Like Chocolate’ on September the second. Since leaving the group N-Dubz, Tulisa has become famously known for her venture on the XFactor where she was one of the judges.

In 2012, the year after her first year judging on the show, she announced she was to start work on her solo album and released her first single called ‘Young’ in March of the same year which reached number 9 in the Uk charts. The song Scream and Shout that was released by Britney Spears and Will.I.AM was originally intended to be for Tulisa and was recorded under the title ‘I Don’t Give a F***’ however the producer of the track did not want Tulisa to have the song and gave it to Will.I.Am who re-wrote the song.

Tulisas debut album called Female Boss was released at the end of 2012 and received negative reviews and only reached number 35 in the charts. In 2013, she left the XFactor and said she would not be releasing any new music. However at the beginning of 2015 she released the single ‘Living Without You’ which only reached number 44 in the UK chart. The new single ‘Sweet Like Chocolate’ is set to be her return to the music scene. So lets take time this Sunday to remember the style of music that she did.
