This weekend we are going to do an N*Dubz special in the Music Guide as two of the members have brand new music out and why not look at one of them when you can look at both of them! So lets start with the bad boy of the group and also the one that has had the most successful music career – Dappy

Costadinos Contostavios also known as Dappy, is a singer, songwriter, rapper and also an actor. After N-Dubz came to a halt in 2011, the musician started on the journey of a solo career and signed a contract with Takeover Entertainment. He first was a guest star on Tinchy Styder’s single, Spaceship. Whilst deciding to go solo he was contact by Def Jam to ask what he would like done with the demo tracks that he had recorded under N-Dubz and took the track ‘No Regrets’ and re-recorded it as a solo track making it his first single. It went to number one in the United Kingdom and Number 8 in Ireland.

The success of No Regrets, it caught the attention of Queen guitarist Brian May and they released a single together called Rockstar. Dappy described his debut album Bad Intentions as ‘motivational music for people who believe they can’t do nothing, a battle we have with our own mind.”

In 2015, the rapper returned releasing the song ‘Beautiful Me’ and a few more singles including the first EP called Eros Apollo which was released on Christmas day. More recently he has released the songs ‘Hip Hip Hooray’ and ‘Kiss’.

So to get us through this Saturday, lets take a seat back and watch and remind ourselves of some of Dappys music.
