There are rumours spreading left right and centre this week that My Chemical Romance could be reforming 3 years after they announced their break up. This week they released a very short video of a flag with a black cross with the MCR logo waving in the wind with the date 9/23/16 .
This has caused excitement among the MCR fans and has made them all look forward to the Autumn and what is yet to come! So to celebrate the works of MCR welcome to a 2 part special! This time we are going to look at he band itself and the fantastic music and back catalogue and then tomorrow we will celebrate the music of Gerard Ways solo career.
MCR are an American rock band that come from New Jersey and were active for 12 years between the years of 2001 and 2013. The band was founded by the lead vocalist Gerard way and was made up of Ray Toro, Mikey Way, Frank Lero, Bob Bryar, Matt Pelissier and James Dewees. In total they had four studio albums including The Black Parade, Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge and Danger Days – The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys. Their biggest song in the United Kingdom to date is Welcome to the Black Parade that reached number one.
