Comedian Focus:Joe Lycett – That’s The Way A-Ha A-Ha

Each week we will not only be providing you with some of the genres of show available at the Fringe we are also going to do a ‘Comedian Focus’ section which will take an in depth look at a certain comedian playing at the Fringe. This week we will be talking about –Joe Lycett .

About: If you haven’t heard of Joe Lycett as a comedian then firstly where have you been? As this name is getting bigger and bigger by the day. You may of heard of him as he went viral a few months ago with his solution to a parking ticket.

Joe has been on many panel shows across the television channels including 8 Out of 10 cats, Celebrity Juice, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Virtually Famous and Alan Davis: As Yet Untitled. He has also been on a variety of radio shows as well including a regular feature on Josh Widdicombes XFM podcast, Scott Mills, Greg James and Nick Grimshaw shows as well as also making his debut on Just a Minute on BBC Radio 4 in 2013.

This year to the Fringe he brings the final special performances of his sell-out show that has received raving reviews throughout its run. The show has been so popular that his name has been getting bigger and bigger by the moment because of his fantastical humour and comical timing. This is definitely one show you seriously do
not want to miss at the Fringe. Also if you end up going to his show and loving his comedy keep an eye out for his book Parsnips: Buttered: How to baffle, bamboozle and boycott you way through modern life which is out on 20th October 2016.
