There is always a story behind a photograph and I thought it would be a fun way to look at the world of travel. So, welcome to the feature that will appear regularly in the travel section.

Most times I talk about Switzerland I tend to focus on the views as there are so many wonderful ones. However, I wanted to focus on a statue that I saw at CERN that I just thought was fascinating.

This statue was just at the entrance and I found it really interesting and something that you could spend ages looking at as there was so much to see.

I am not sure exactly what the statue is to represent but if you read it you will notice that it is all science related stuff.

I enjoy the photograph because I like the angle that the picture was taken as it makes the statue the forefront of the image. It also gives the statue a strong angle that makes it stand out.

I have deliberately lens blurred the background to make the statue really stand out and be the star of the show.
