HOSTESS CANDY CORN CUPCAKES
Since it is the month of Halloween, I thought it would be fun to take a look at candy that was created specifically for trick or treat. Today we are looking at a treat that is really popular as a candy given at Halloween transformed into something else.
In 2015, it was announced that the brand Hostess was releasing a brand new flavoured cupcake – Candy Corn.
Hostess brand was founded in 2013 and is an American bakery company with headquarters in Lenexa, Kansas.
So lets focus on todays product – the candy corn cupcake. They were yellow cake, with a vanilla creamy filling which has been dyed to look like a candy corn. They are finished off with colourful yellow and white frosting with sprinkles to finish the effect.
Each packet contained eight individually wrapped cakes that were available for a limited time.
A lot of the reviews online state it doesn’t taste like Candy Corn so more people enjoy the flavour.
