Tell Us about:
Your latest single you have released:
Our latest single is called Black Sugar. It’s one of the tracks from our new album Wasteland.
Your favourite lyric in this song:
One of my favourite lines comes from Contagious, one of the tracks from Wasteland.
“I know that I bark up the wrong tree, but even a dog has its day”.
Your favourite song that you have created that is an album track:
Primal Scream from our new album Wasteland.
Your favourite song to play live:
It’s a while since we played live, but a favourite track live was always Gatlin Gun off our first album.
The song that was the longest to write and why?
We’re usually quick in our song writing once a new song is born, but Screaming Blue Murder off our new album took a bit longer than normal. It turned out very different from our initial idea but we’re very happy with it and we like that it really sticks out from the rest of our songs.
One of your previous tracks you would recommend for first time listeners of your music and why?
Heartbreak Jury from our first album is a good first introduction to our band. It’s also by far our most streamed song.
Dream collaboration:
It would be nice to collaborate with Freddy Mercury and Malcolm Young. Unfortunately it’s not going to happen.
Describe the feeling you get when you walk on stage to do a show:
Excitement. Adrenalin bursts as we say in Gatlin Gun.
The track that is most fun to play live:
We used to play a great cover of Whole Lotta Rosie back in the days.
Essential items you always take on tour with you?
Our instruments are very useful on tour.
Describe your fans in three words:
Could be more
A song released in the last few years by an artist or band you wish you had written:
Mister Charm from Rolling Stones new album.
What we can look forward to from your band the rest of this year:
We just released our new album Wasteland. We plan to release another single off it soon, haven’t yet decided which track.
