It was only a few years ago that Perth Museum opened in the town in Scotland. It is a place where it delves into the area like you have never seem before and gives you a glimpse of it’s history.

Perth Museum is located in St Johns Place, central to the town and about a ten to fifteen minute walk from the train station. It is open daily from 10am (11am Sunday) and it is free entry.

The main attraction at the museum is the Stone of Destiny – which if you want to see you have to book a free timed ticket in advance. It is an ancient symbol of Scottish Monarchy.

Throughout the rest of the museum there are exhibits related to different areas of history related to Perthshire such as the nature, the towns and much more. There is also new exhibits all the time.
