Every Sunday we are taking a look at the world of books. I read a lot and always want to share my opinions on what I read, so I thought it would be fun to write reviews. Today we are looking at a book that is the prequel to the Maze Runner series.

Positive Points
This book is very similar to the original series as it throws you right into the action and puts you in the core of the narrative. This means that it has those similarities that you want from this world.
Negative Points
There are some parts that have some really unnecessary gore which it really could of done without.
Overall Review
I am not really sure that this prequel was really needed. The original ended very strongly and made you walk away and think about the events where as with this it sort of felt like you had only one book to understand the new characters and what was going on.
