There are so many songs that are out there everywhere then all of a sudden they disappear and you only hear from them very rarely that they can create a sense of nostalgic for you, the listener. So roll up and welcome to Forgotten Songs where we celebrate these forgotten wonders.

Holiday – Mad’House

There was a time in the early noughties where covers were a huge market for people to do in the music industry to gain popularity quickly. There was one Eurodance group that made their popularity by covering Madonna and we are looking at one of these tracks.

In 2002, the Eurodance group Mad’House released their version of Holiday. The song was off of the bands album called Absolutely Mad. The single version had an extended mix of the song and another track C’est La Vie.

The Eurodance song did well in the charts and went into the top 30 in a handful of countries including Austria (19), Belgium (15), France (10), Germany (23), Ireland (19), Netherlands (17) and Switzerland (18). In the UK the single went to the position of 24.
