There are so many songs that are out there everywhere then all of a sudden they disappear and you only hear from them very rarely that they can create a sense of nostalgic for you, the listener. So roll up and welcome to Forgotten Songs where we celebrate these forgotten wonders.

Mr Alibi – Maria Wilson

Today we look at a single by a solo musician you may not remember as she only released a couple of singles and even went on a tour as the support act for Busted. There is limited information so I have done my best to find out everything I can for you today.

Maria Wilson became famous by appearing on Michael Barrymore’s My Kind Of People. From that it led to her having a music career. The second single that she released was Mr Alibi. The track was released in 2003 and under the record label of Telstar and Silent. It was off of the album Alibi.

On the CD there was a number of different tracks as well as the single – an acoustic version of Out Of Time and a song called Already Gone. The single went into the charts at number 43.
