What do you do when, after your father’s death, you discover a bundle of letters he wrote to your mum in the 1980s? You write a stand-up show, of course.

Catamaran is a show that is full of lots of fun anecdotes about his parents, living at home and dealing with issues such as mice and much more. The letters are scattered throughout the show and they create a lot of comedy, as a lot of them are pieces of writing that you probably do not want your son to find. It’s that unexpected journey that makes the show funny.

The show also has a lot of topics that are relevant to today’s society, politics, social media and even Jeremy Vine are the topics in the limelight and they all create a lot of fun comedy sections and a lot of punchy quick witted laughs.

Whilst this show has a lot of hysterical moments, it is also heartfelt throughout as well. If you strip the show back you can see the emotion that has gone into this show. The show is something that is an entertaining hour, it covers a lot of different topics that it will appeal to a vast of audience members as there is something for everyone.
