A comedy rave, that is exactly the way to describe this show and I haven’t seen a stand up like it before. Adam has created this concept where he does a show that is over the top of a dance beat, it is something that probably shouldn’t work but it weirdly does. 

The energy of the show is contagious, the way the jokes are presented, the constant dancing over the beats, it creates a really lively environment and incredibly makes the jokes hit harder and make the laughs a lot bigger. 

 There are some great jokes scattered throughout the show that are well crafted, you think some are going in one direction and then Adam puts a twist on them, a good example about this is the cooking joke which I won’t spoil. In addition to the jokes, ever so often Adam will emphasis on the mic and autotune will kick in which emphasises the dance rave theme and heightens the humour. 

Many topics on display with this show from relationships to family and art. It is a very clever show because he also uses the music in different ways to build the narrative of a night club by editing the music to make it sound like the smoking area, the toilets and the dance floor, it’s a simple way to lead the show through but also very effective. 

Overall this is a show that is playing its own beat, incredibly clever in its individuality and definitely one worth seeing.
