Ashlee Bentley has had a whirlwind of a journey to Fringe – she won the Magners Share The Craic competition and a fully funded show run at the festival, which is the dream for any comedian. As soon as Ashlee approaches the stage is is evident why she won the prestigious award as the room is filled with huge laughs right from the first word.

The show is called Wallflower as it was a name that the comic was always called and decided to write a show all about it. There is so much to love about this show—the fast-paced jokes, the quick and clever punchlines, and her effortless charm and pure likability.

The show covers a lot of different topics such as family, relationships, work and even the issues with dancing when you are not a fan of it. The jokes are sharp witted and a lot of fun.

If you are looking for a show that defines a really good stand up hour then this is a show that you have to go and see. It is evident why Ashlee won the award as she is incredibly talented as a stand up, she knows how to present jokes in way that automatically connects with audiences on many levels.

A perfect late night treat.
