GORDON RAMSAY WELLINGTON BITES
We all know who Gordon Ramsay is and how well established he is. In the United States his fame is on another level and he actually released a range of frozen meal. So I thought today we will talk about it.
In August 2023, it was announced that he was releasing a line of frozen food products called By Chef Ramsay. The meals were exclusively sold at Walmart. Apparently they were meals that held a personal place in his heart and mark comfort foods that he personally enjoys and represent a special part of his culinary journey.
It is one of his most famous dishes on his show and his restaurants and it was turned into frozen Wellington Bites for the public to try. These miniature versions of the dish transforms into a puff pastry ball filled with seasoned tender beef and mushroom duxelle.
Each container is around 850 grams and a portion is two pieces. Each portion is 330 calories and 24 grams of fat. To cook them you use either the oven or the air fryer and there are instructions for both ways on the back.
There are many positive reviews online for these stating that the pastry is incredibly tasty. There is a lot of debate about the meat as apparently it isn’t very tender and is chewy. People also say if you use the air fryer you can make them more crispy.
