It is festival season and that means that in the next month there is so many great comedy festivals to look forward to! Hello! Tell us all about your show!

Well it’s big and silly and loud. There’s juggling with Pink Wellies/Gum boots, a contemporary dance with a can of lager, a Jacob Collier-esque sock puppet. It’s part satire of contemporary art, and part absolute nonsense. A lot of fun I think

What other acts are you looking forward to seeing at the fringe?

So many! Nina Conti, Elf Lyons, Zachuary Ruane, Lara Ricote, Piotr Sikora. I’m a big fan of the weirdos and the idiots

Have you done the fringe before? What are the key pieces of advice you have been given or would give to new groups or people performing at the fringe.

I performed once on the street when I was a child, juggling on a unicycle. My advice would be to be a child, audiences are very nice to children.

If this is your first time – what are you looking forward to?

Okay yes it’s my first proper time. I’m looking forward to it all! To perform everyday, to see a bunch of awesome/weird shows, to see friends I don’t get to see much, to make new friends I won’t get to see much. Also Scotland, I love Scotland so much.

Talk us through your daily routine for a day at the Fringe

This I’m not sure yet, I’m staying not so far from the sea, so I’m thinking to start each day with a swim would be a good idea. Then I guess a quick coffee, scream into the void, and go time.

Ok, where is your favourite place to eat at the Fringe?

Well I haven’t lived in the UK for a while now and the only food I miss are crumpets. I miss them so much. I will be eating crumpets for every meal.

Best thing about performing at the fringe?

The friends we make along the way. Also, I don’t always know what will happen in my show, the audience have quite some say. And fringe audiences are a special breed, which means I REALLY don’t always know what will happen, and that’s very exciting.

What are your best hacks to save money whilst at the Fringe?

Sleep on the floor in a room with 12 people, invest in crude oil, and only eat crumpets.
