There are so many songs that are out there everywhere then all of a sudden they disappear and you only hear from them very rarely that they can create a sense of nostalgic for you, the listener. So roll up and welcome to Forgotten Songs where we celebrate these forgotten wonders.

When My Baby – Scooch

Today we are looking at a pop band from the noughties who you may remember as at one point the represented the UK at the Eurovision. Today we are looking at Scooch’s debut single. There isn’t a lot of information but have written everything I have discovered from my research.

When My Baby was the bands debut single in the UK. It was released in 1999 and reached 29 in the UK charts and only chatted in Australia as well at number 182.

Scooch actually gained the rights to release the single in a very random way. In 1999 the band won a competition on Live & Kicking where they won against another band Glitterbug to have their single released.

When My Baby was released on the 25th October 1999 and was written by Mike Stock, Matt Aitken and Steve Crosby.
