OUTLAW FRIES

Today we are heading to the Rio Grande Valley Livestock Show in Mercedes Texas to take a look at a dish that has raving reviews and is unique in it’s style.

Outlaw Fries is a good truck that is renowned for it’s snack of the same name. Outlaw Fries are a type of hot food that you won’t want to miss out on if you attend this event. The addition that brings the dish alcove is the queso sauce. It is made of condensed cheese, diced chillies, tomatoes and jalapeno pepper juice. These are all mixed together.

The most important thing about the chips is that the Idaho potato is used. They are put through a cutter that makes them really thin and crinkly. They are then deep fried three different times at three different temperatures to create these unique fries.

The dish is served with the chips at the base, then the queso sauce, topped with fresh dried bacon, sour cream and green onions.

People are a fan of these because of the fact that they are super crispy, tasty and it combined flavours really well together.
