Hello! Tell us all about your show!

Killer is a murder mystery; a funny show, about the most serious of subjects.

It is a show about death, but with absolutely no poignancy or mention of dead family members. I have previously worked in health and palliative care and as a result my attitude to death has been…insensitive, to say the least.

It’s a Stand-Up show dedicated to entertaining the audience and making them laugh…that’s the most important bit, right?

#What other acts are you looking forward to seeing at the fringe?

Honestly? None! During the fringe I have to stay in my own headspace. If I went to see even a few of the brilliant shows put on at the Edinburgh Fringe I would probably quit immediately, intimidated by everyone’s creative genius…and I’m self-obsessed.

Have you done the fringe before? What are the key pieces of advice you have been given or would give to new groups or people performing at the fringe.

This will be my first time at Fringe doing a full hour for the whole time. The most popular piece of advice is “Enjoy it and don’t drink too much!” I’ll be ignoring at least one of these, I’ll leave it a mystery as to which one.

My advice for fringe is; delete social media for the month, (give it to someone else to take over, you don’t need to be comparing yourself to everyone else), build a routine, have plenty of alone time, have plenty of socialising time and drink loads of wine….oh I think that’s ruined the mystery.

If this is your first time – what are you looking forward to?

I’m really looking forward to doing my show every day and seeing what form it takes at the end. I’m so in love with this show and so proud of it that I just want to do it all the time!

Talk us through your daily routine for a day at the Fringe

I have to go swimming somewhere, a gym, the sea, a pond, a puddle….ANYWHERE. I hate exercise and I hate the gym but swimming keeps me in the right head space. I’ll meet up with a mate, have a delicious lunch and then go over my show again and fix any little things I need to. Afterwards….well to be honest I usually can’t remember. The aforementioned Sauvignon Blanc takes over and I can’t be responsible for what happens.

Ok, where is your favourite place to eat at the Fringe?

Pepe’s Piri Piri chicken…I know, I know it’s not Mosque Kitchen but Pepe’s is the best and I’ll hear no more about it.

OH and Nile Valley Café for the most delicious £5 wrap you can find. (PS always add Feta you won’t regret it.)

Best thing about performing at the fringe?

For me it’s the sense of achievement. It’s no small feat to perform something that you have created every single day for a month. It’s a massive thing! I don’t like being soppy about it but it’s a gorgeous thing to look at where you started, (for most it’s a basement doing 5 mins of rubbish material to four people) and bask in where you are.

Do you bring anything special from home to make it feel more special whilst you are away?

I force a lot of friends and family to visit me while I’m there, to keep the breakdowns at bay and that’s the most special thing (was a bit sick in my mouth then, sorry for the soppiness.)

My nephews came last year and it was fabulous.

What are your best hacks to save money whilst at the Fringe?

Nile Café Chicken Wraps (Live on them)

I am really good at spending money so that’s all I have.
