It is festival season and that means that in the next month there is so many great comedy festivals to look forward to! This month we are looking at some of the great shows that you can see at the Edinburgh Fringe. Hello! Tell us all about your show!

Oil & Whiskey is a country rock dramedy musical about two exes who meet for a drink and relive their entire relationship over a couple rounds of whiskey. It is a mix between a traditional musical and a country rock concert. Oil & Whiskey will make you laugh, cry, and remember why… you don’t text your ex.

What other acts are you looking forward to seeing at the fringe?

We are looking forward to re-seeing “Hole!”, a hilarious musical … we just saw in NYC recently, and we are also very excited to see Bellina Logan’s One Woman Show, “Confessions of a Mulatto Love Child”.

Have you done the fringe before? What are the key pieces of advice you have been given or would give to new groups or people performing at the fringe. 

This is our first fringe! But what we have heard is: network a ton, do a lot of animated flyering, and make sure to conserve energy and stay healthy! And see as many shows as you can!!!

If this is your first time – what are you looking forward to?

We are looking forward to all the networking with wonderful peers in the theatre space.

Talk us through your daily routine for a day at the Fringe

Wake Up, exercise, eat something healthy (hopefully), flyer, more flyer, see a show, flyer, see another show, prep for our show, ROCK OUT AT OUR COUNTRY ROCK JAM FEST, have whiskey with the cast and new fans, party hardy, crash, do it all again.

Ok, where is your favourite place to eat at the Fringe? 

We don’t really know – but ya gotta hit up, THE STREET! (that’s where our show is )

Best thing about performing at the fringe?

Doing shows back-to-back helps home in on what works, what doesn’t, and makes you strong!

Do you bring anything special from home to make it feel more special whilst you are away?

Cuddly socks. 

What are your best hacks to save money whilst at the Fringe?

University Housing (thank you Fringe!) and protein bars.
