It is festival season and that means that in the next month there is so many great comedy festivals to look forward to! This month we are looking at some of the great shows that you can see at the Edinburgh Fringe. So take note because we are going to give you all the information you need for just a handful of some of the great shows happening this year!

Hello! Tell us all about your show!
It’s a shadow puppetry show about the occult and magic. We use hundreds of puppets on a large screen to tell a spooky cinematic story. A teenage girl named Vi is sent to live with her grandmother who happens to be the famous historical mystic Madam Blavatsky. They team up to solve the mystery behind a series of kidnappings that are part of a giant international conspiracy. There’s also a tiny frog wizard.
What other acts are you looking forward to seeing at the fringe?
Our friends, the Creepy Boys, are back with ‘Slugs.’ The Birdman has a new show called, ‘All the Atoms In the Universe Really Made My Day.’ Also, Steffen Haanes with ‘The Ritual.’
Have you done the fringe before? What are the key pieces of advice you have been given or would give to new groups or people performing at the fringe.
This will be our fifth time. I would tell new performers that yes, their venue definitely is haunted and they are not just imagining it. This is Edinburgh, after all. If you feel frightened, an old trick is to try to imagine the ghosts naked.
Talk us through your daily routine for a day at the Fringe
Wake up. Coffee. Meditation. The Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram. Walk around giving out little free comic books to promote our show. Go see a show or two. Perform our show. Apologize to the audience members that fainted. Record the day’s events in my book of shadows. And if I still have energy, do a little astral projection before bed.

Best thing about performing at the fringe?
Meeting incredible artists from around the world and asking them if they ever saw a ghost.
Do you bring anything special from home to make it feel more special whilst you are away?
My favorite tarot deck, my demon friends that I summoned from the Ars Goetia and a cozy pair of pajamas.
What are your best hacks to save money whilst at the Fringe?
Food and accommodations are the biggest expenses and they get more outrageously expensive every year. But here’s a tip: if you transcend the material plane, breaking free of the prison of reality and transforming into being of pure light, you don’t even need that stuff anymore.
